Pandemonium as Eskay Set to Take Oath

It is pandemonium at Masjid Amru al As in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur today as at least 500 people chant “There is no God but Allah” in the main hall.

It is anticipated that businessman Shazryl Eskay Abdullah will soon take an oath to prove he is telling the truth about the sex video he claims is of Anwar Ibrahim.

He is said to be on his way.

The crowd also chants “Qazaf, qazaf” and calls for the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) to arrest him for making allegations of adultery without proof.

There is almost a stampede when a group of about four burly men in red and blue polo T-shirts push through the crowd yelling, “Keluar, keluar” (get out).

PKR Youth members claim that the men are not from their side.

The crowd pushes the group outside the main hall.

Meanwhile, about 50 people including PKR Youth leader Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin begin praying.
The PKR Youth members then proceed to lead a doa (prayer) to ask for protection for those who are slandered and retribution for those who slander.

There is no sign of Eskay yet.

The chairperson of the mosque pleads for the crowd to leave the mosque for fear that anything untoward would happen.

“Please, I am pleading with you, leave the mosque now. We are all Muslims,” he said.

As the crowd disperses some yell, “Anwar zina”, leading to others to yell in protest, but the commotion quickly dies down.
